Instructions for Writing a Recipe and Practicing the Imperative Objective:
Write a simple recipe while practicing the use of imperatives and the modal verbs should,
shouldn't, must, mustn't, have to, and don't have to.
Instructions:
1. Choose a Simple Recipe
a. Pick an easy recipe that you know well (e.g, making a sandwich pancakes, or
a fruit salad).
2. Write the Ingredients
a. List the ingredients needed for your recipe.
b. Use imperative to give advice or rules about the ingredients.
c. Example: You should use fresh vegetables for the best flavor. You don't have
to use butter if you prefer oil.
3. Write the Steps Using Imperatives
a. Describe each step in the recipe using the imperative form. Example: Wash
the vegetables carefully. Chop them into small pieces.Mix the vegetables in a
large bowl.
