This week's challenge: look around your house for a solution that has its percent concentration listed on the
container. For household cleaners and food, the concentration is typically listed on the bottom of the front label. For
medicinal and cosmetic solutions the concentration is typically listed on the back label. Assume this is percent
concentration by volume (% m/v) Post the name of the solution and its concentration. Do not use something someone
else already posted.
You know the percent by volume, which means you now have a conversion factor of grams per 100 mL (g substance/
100 mL). Look at the label again to see how many mL it contained before you opened it.
Include in your post,
1) the solution's name
2) percent concentration from the label
3) volume unopened
4) your estimate for grams in the unopened container
